1. Who we are

TUNLstack is made and sold by aioLABS Limited ("aioLABS", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in Nova Scotia, Canada (NS Registry No. 4806319), based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. You can reach us at support@tunlstack.com.

These terms cover your use of the tunlstack.com website and your purchase and use of the TUNLstack desktop application (the "app"). By using the site or the app, you agree to these terms.

2. What TUNLstack is

TUNLstack is a Windows desktop application for people working with AI assistants. It reads AI replies aloud with synchronized word-by-word highlighting, provides fast dictation, and adds hands-free voice navigation, along with related productivity features.

3. Purchases and payment

Orders are processed by Paddle (paddle.com), our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles checkout, billing, applicable sales taxes and VAT, and buyer receipts. When you buy TUNLstack, the transaction is between you and Paddle, and Paddle's buyer terms apply to the checkout in addition to these terms. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay, plus any taxes Paddle is required to collect for your location. By purchasing, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

4. Your license

Your license term depends on the edition you purchase, as stated in the offer at the time of purchase. A Founders Edition purchase grants a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the purchased version of the app for personal or business use by one user, on up to two (2) Windows devices that user works on at a time. Device slots can be viewed and freed from your account page. A Founders Edition license does not expire and carries no recurring fee.

You may not resell, redistribute, rent, or sublicense the app, share a single license across multiple users, or circumvent or disable license validation. Any edition-specific entitlements (for example, Founders Edition benefits) are as stated in the offer at the time of purchase.

5. Free trial

TUNLstack offers a free 8-day trial of the full application. No payment details are required. Creating and authenticating a TUNLstack account is required to activate the trial. After the trial ends, continued use requires a purchased license.

6. Third-party AI services (your own keys)

TUNLstack's read-aloud and voice navigation run entirely on your device and need no third-party account, except that the voice commands that capture a spoken name or tag (to rename or tag a session) use dictation's cloud speech-to-text service when dictation is set up to use it. Dictation can also run entirely on your device using its on-device engine, which you can choose during setup or in Settings at any time; in its default configuration, dictation uses an optional cloud speech-to-text service that requires your own account and API key. The app downloads the speech models it needs from our servers on first run, and others (such as the on-device dictation model) when they are first needed. If you turn on the optional on-device language model (used for chat summaries), the app also downloads it and the program that runs it (the download size depends on your PC and the model you choose, is subject to change, and is shown before you download) from our servers. Optionally, some features can connect to third-party services (for example, faster cloud speech-to-text) using your own account and API keys. Your use of those services is governed by their terms and pricing, and any usage costs on those accounts are yours. We do not operate those services and are not responsible for their availability, output, or billing.

7. License validation

The app periodically validates your license over the internet by transmitting your license key and minimal machine-binding data to our licensing service. Persistent blocking of license validation may limit the app's functionality.

8. Updates

We may provide updates, fixes, and improvements to the app at our discretion. Nothing in these terms obligates us to deliver specific future features. Updates included with your purchase are as described in the offer at the time of purchase.

9. Acceptable use

You agree to use the site and the app only for lawful purposes. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except to the extent that applicable law permits it despite this limitation.

10. Warranty disclaimer

The site and the app are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, aioLABS Limited's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the site, the app, or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the app. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you; nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer protection law grants you and that cannot be waived.

12. Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. See our Refund Policy for how it works.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information the site and the app handle and how.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site or the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Disputes are subject to the courts of Nova Scotia, except where the consumer protection law of your place of residence gives you mandatory rights to a different venue.
